Dear Legacy Family,

We are excited to report that we have now had both doses of the COVID vaccine administered to all Legacy residents and staff members that wished to receive it, in all 3 of our locations.

 

We are still learning new things everyday concerning COVID and the vaccine. It is especially important to us to restore the personal connection and we are trying to begin allowing visitors into the building. We ask for your patience and understanding to help with this process, below are some rules that we ask that you follow to keep it as safe as possible.  We take seriously the rights and desires of our residents as well as doing everything we can to maintain a safe environment and a virus free community.

 

Beginning immediately, immediate family members may visit residents inside of the assisted living community in a designated area or residents’ apartment under the following guidelines:

• Visitors will be limited to two guests per resident at a time.

• No visitors under the age of 12 at this time.

• Temperatures and O2 SATS must be taken along with sign in form signed.

• All indoor visitors must wear a 3 ply surgical mask, in order to be permitted entry. The assisted living community can provide mask for a cost of $2/guest or guests can provide their own. 

• Hand washing or sanitizing must be done before and after each visit.  

• Residents and guests must wear masks at all times.

• We ask that you not eat or drink during the visit.

• We ask that you practice social distancing guidelines.

• We ask that visitors go directly to the resident room and not linger around common areas or halls
